The association does not have every answer. What it has is a short list of the places that do, and a membership that has usually solved the problem already.

The resource that is actually ours
Everything above is public and you could have found it yourself. What the association adds is the part that is not written down anywhere: the member who has already been through the permit you are about to apply for, already hired for the role you are about to post, already used the supplier you are about to call.
Most questions a small business has in East Fishkill have been answered by somebody three doors down. Bring it to a monthly meeting, or write to the board and we will point you at whoever knows.
Selling into the research park
Hudson Valley Research Park is the largest employer in the town, and a good deal of what it buys is bought locally through contractors rather than directly. Members who want to understand how that procurement actually works should say so — it is exactly the kind of session the association intends to run, and it is more useful with a few named businesses asking for it.
